Who We Are

The Company

Independent documentary films made with rigour, curiosity, and the conviction that some stories simply must be told.

Our Mission

Stories that ask the questions nobody thought to ask.

Blossom Peak Productions makes investigative documentary films at the intersection of personal curiosity and systemic inquiry. We find the things that don't make sense — and we dig until they do.

Rigorous but never dry. Passionate but never preachy. We believe the best documentaries change not just how you think about the world around you, but reconnect you to our shared humanity.

The Founder

Danielle (Dee) Libine

Dee is a debuting documentary filmmaker and experienced entrepreneur based in Switzerland, with over 20 years of experience in visual creation, business coaching, and digital strategy.

Her debut documentary, Stupid Shoes, grew from a personal experience — bunion surgery at 40, and the slow realisation that the shoes she'd been wearing ever since had the same shape as the ones that caused the problem in the first place.

What started as a personal question became a two-year investigation spanning six countries, 16+ expert interviews, and 245 years of scientific evidence. Dee's approach is direct, data-driven, and disarmingly human. She asks the obvious questions nobody thought to ask.

What We Stand For

Our Approach

Investigative

We follow the evidence wherever it leads, even when it's inconvenient. Our films are built on primary research, expert testimony, and data — not assumptions.

Edutaining

Rigorous doesn't mean dry. Our films are built to be watched — engaging, entertaining, and structured for audiences who want to understand, not just be informed.

Human

Every systemic problem has a human story at its centre. We find that story first, then zoom out. The personal is always our entry point.
